Classic LP storms roamed through Claude and Goodnight, Tx. Photogenic cells and large hail up to tennis ball size were associated with this storm.

Me and Blanscet were just about to call it quits when his dad called and said, "hey theres a funnel by my house." we turned around and theres a monster tornado on the ground. then the chase started. check out my pics. ill have video in a day or two.

the night the nws-ama wasnt working , i had to use lubbock's radar to chase this storm to plainview. 10 miles SW of sundown and I-27, it tried to drop but didnt succeed.

this was one of the funnest chases ive had. knarf and his wife tagged along. this cell had so much rotation it made you dizzy staring at it. it was tornado warned and dropped a tornado about 10 miles east of my location. but i couldnt find a road going east at the time. there were spotters EVERYWHERE! and i saw 2 TIVS.

here's some pics from the 04-29-09 chase. i ended up in a ditch south of quitaque and had some very nice people pull me out. missed out on some fun. hail stones hurt when they hit your ears though... but i wasnt the only one who got stuck.
