06-19-09 Wildorado

huge downdraft 8 miles south of Wildorado. it lead the entire cell until its expiration.

06-05-09 North Amarillo

this storm did not produce anything severe until i stopped chasing at which time it dropped a tornado south of whitedeer.

06-04-09 Chase from Amarillo to Plainview

the night the nws-ama wasnt working , i had to use lubbock's radar to chase this storm to plainview. 10 miles SW of sundown and I-27, it tried to drop but didnt succeed.

05-25-09 between Dumas and Amarillo

coming back from visiting family in Dumas, i pulled over to get these shots.

04-25-09 South of Arnett

this was one of the funnest chases ive had. knarf and his wife tagged along. this cell had so much rotation it made you dizzy staring at it. it was tornado warned and dropped a tornado about 10 miles east of my location. but i couldnt find a road going east at the time. there were spotters EVERYWHERE! and i saw 2 TIVS.
